Alice: Madness Returns

Just beat it and bought it! :)

I thought, that although it did get a little TOO long, it was a very enjoyable game and certainly a break away from all the same ole' same ole' that is today's gaming world.

Plus I am a fan of the original and this was a worthy successor...I especially enjoyed the fighting! Great combat system!

Story, characters, and levels were classic McGee!

Also free for EA Play and Gamepass sub's through Origin/EA Desktop and XBox App :D
I honestly would not play it with EA Play since EA Desktop is absolute shit. I don't know why it requires a piece of beta software that isn't ready for primetime in the first place. Origin works perfectly fine.

You don't have to use EA Desktop yet do you? Can't you just one or the other still?(or both if you really wanted/needed)

If you get the game through PC Game Pass with EA Play you are required to use EA Desktop. Not sure about a standalone subscription to EA Play.

$2.99 again, decided to give it a go.

Edit: man 30fps is rooough

Increasing the framerate desyncs the physics and AI. 60 FPS doesn't seem to cause any issues, but any higher will make them more obvious.
Lame. I remember editing the .ini many years ago when the game was new, but pretty sure I only did 60 as 60hz monitors was what I had.
I actually tried this and it crashes to desktop on launch, even after changing the values back to default. Might need to reinstall.
Just delete the entire .ini file and have Steam verify game files. Will prevent needing to uninstall/reinstall the entire game.
