    Time for a new card

Thank you sk3tch and the others for the input. Ended up with a 2070 ti super Asus TUF OC. Seems to be a pretty big upgrade over the faithful 1080ti

    Time for a new card

Thanks, I didnt know if some board partners were worse then others in quality or warranty. I don't see them come back down in price that fast. I think nvidia shorted the stock on purpose to let the aib's sell their 4080's, and greed Sorry I should have mentioned I was only in the 4080 range if...

    Time for a new card

To replace the love of my life 1080Ti FTW, going to be a really sad day :( Anyhow as you can tell by my card I dont get out much and follow the hardware like I used to. If I get a 4070 Ti Super, since EVGA is no longer an option what are the good brands to buy as far as quality. Or what...

In the US. A 7900XTX is 929.00 at both newegg and Amazon. Both in stock https://www.newegg.com/xfx-radeon-rx-7900-xtx-rx-79xmercb9/p/N82E16814150878?Item=N82E16814150878 $921 at amazon now...

No, I am saying a 9% discount is not enough for me to take any risk on a used 840 dollar item. At that point I would spend the extra 90 bucks and get it new.

Thinking about getting a 7900xt or xtx, but worried about my psu and coil whine problems people are reporting

Thanks but not at todays prices. Taking a chance on my 1080 used at 300 back in the day was one thing. But spending 800 on a used card just is more risk then I will take. At that point I would spend the 200 to get a warranty :) Thank you though, I appreciate the input.

Sadly I think I need to replace my faithful and loved evga 1080 ti ftw and looking at the 7900xt or likely a xtx since getting a 4080 for anything close to msrp is not possible thanks to nvida bending everybody over yet again. My power supply is an evga 850 gold G2 am I going to need to...

Need 2.1 Stereo / Dac Recommendations

Thank you so much. From what I am seeing I think the sub out is just becoming to much problem for my simple needs. Maybe Optical to Dac to CD input on the Integrated amp and take the speaker level from A to the Paradigms and from B channel to the sub speaker level input...

Need 2.1 Stereo / Dac Recommendations

I would like to avoid the "pay significantly more" part. Not that I am trying to be super cheap, but still its a gaming pc I listen to music on :)

Need 2.1 Stereo / Dac Recommendations

This is really just for computer audio but the gear leans more toward this crowd, so I thought I would ask here as well. I have decided to go with a older integrated amp (onkyo, sansui, kenwood, technincs etc: etc: ) looking for ones with pre out - main in connections so I can have more...
