Virtual Desktop has worked flawlessly for me since I bought it about a year or so ago to the point where I haven't even tried Airlink on my Quest 2. VD has plenty of tweaking options and is continually being improved by the developer.

1080 Ti
Had that thing for what felt like an eternity without the desire to upgrade. Ran everything I threw at it great, even VR games with the HTC Vive and Valve Index. Upgraded until the 3000 series came out... and that was only because I was able to grab a 3070 at MSRP close to launch.
Just got my hands on an ROG Strix 4090 after having a 3090 for a while. Although the 3090 ran almost everything I threw at it at at least 1440p with great framerates, I play on VR a lot and can't wait to finish my build to test the 4090... so the Ti is really not on my radar at least at this...
Selling an AMD Ryzen 3600x processor with Wraith Prism cooler. I upgraded to a 5600x so no longer need this processor. Was uninstalled 1/31/2021 and works perfectly.
