    Why the Physx Hate?

I remember hearing that the CPU code with Physx was locked to x85 instructions and didn't use x86 or SSE instructions or threading. The result is that on CPU, the code runs at less than half the speed that it can run at, and also being proprietary Nvidia would sue anyone that tried to improve...

    4770K 90C with H100i @ stock speeds?

Delid or get a new one, the thermal paste on a 4770k is crap but it sounds like you have a worse one than usual.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I'm dispatch 26 too, it hasn't arrived at my home office. I guess the packages are driving from the west to the east coast. I'm in Pennsylvania.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I'm glad to have found this out now rather than later. I haven't ordered that PSU yet thank goodness. I see a lot of people "planning" to use the ST45SF-G PSU with a 290x and 4770K. Is this SFX power supply sufficient for this much hardware? You definitely don't want to do Prime and Furmark...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Thanks! Quite a bit over actually hahaha. The one with the reservoir is listed at 299.2mm, I'll use that.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Almost ready to order my parts, got another clearance question: This MCR220-DRIVE radiator has a pump included but requires 60mm of clearance from the last screw on the side with the pump. (I know reservoir side fits since that's the same as the 220). Can anyone check whether this would fit...

Cool! I thought, until I saw it is out of stock at Newegg, Amazon, and the Cooler Master store. LOL

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Thank you! Now I remember why I got this case :) it's perfect. Bad memory is bad. Too bad Swiftech H220 was banned from sale in the USA, the only other choice for an expandable all-in-one loop is Cooler Master's Eisberg 240L Prestige.(correct me if I'm wrong). Trying to decide between this and...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I have the case on order, but something just hit me. I intended to watercool the GPU, will something like this have enough clearance in the case to connect? http://rog.asus.com/276232013/news/koolance-releases-amd-r9-290x-water-block/

    Xeon Phi discussion

Does this mean the end of CPU folding in a year or two? Once it runs Folding one CPU with 4 of these bad boys (off Ebay) would beat any quad-CPU setup right? Price would of course be a factor and Folding needs to support so many threads, but the raw processing power.....

    Monitor Calibrator

I use the Spyder 3 express for my 27in Samsung, it's no frills and simple to use but the before and after image differences are stunning. I don't know if it is better than other 100$ calibrators though. Here's the $105 Spyder 4 express...
