I think the tone is fine - from what I heard, people were just bitching on Discord, where it's going to make zero difference. Also, this is a Sony decision, not Arrowhead, they did not want this to happen by all accounts.
I had no problem with Windows 10, but I wanted features like DirectStorage, so I switched to 11. The only thing I don't really like is the changes to the Start menu and right-click context menus, but other than that I haven't had many issues. I haven't noticed any ads anywhere, but I'm running...
I picked this up during the big sale on it, pretty good so far. Had some weird instances where it had some really bad hitching, but that seems to be mostly gone.
I've never TKed, but I do admit I will sometimes pick up a dead teammates weapon if it's one I haven't unlocked yet...
I try to avoid doing that with Strategem weapons/items, but a primary, sure.
Yeah, for just media playback and streaming, something like the nVidia Shield Pro is going to be superior in terms of format support (Dolby Vision, etc.) versus an HTPC. I just went through the same thing. I still use an HTPC for some tasks but for streaming from Emby I now use the Shield...
If it were me I'd get something like an A310 or A380 for that purpose. Does AV1 encoding, low power, low profile (if needed).
If it's just for media consumption I don't know why you would need something capable of more than 4K @ 60 Hz.
EDIT - Also, if you need 4k 120 Hz I think you can get a...
I bought a few Keeplink 2.5gb switches, so far they work great. I'm using 10gb SFP between two of them, also works flawlessly. This one looks nice for the two SFP ports, the ones I got only have one each, but they were also cheaper (I think $65 apiece or so).
For me, the big one was back when I was working for a small IT company doing small/medium business stuff. We had a lot of clients with Unifi APs attached to a cloud key that we controlled, so we had several sites on the key for different clients. Most of these clients had like 1-4 APs, so not...
I don't think you have to have the EGS launcher installed to play the game, but it does require an EGS account for multiplayer, from what it sounds like, because it uses EGS servers.
My big issue with them is the planned obsolescence. I've never had a ton of issues actually using their products before, except when they decide to take away features you had previously to drive you towards new hardware.
