If they put the effort in for proper Atmos support then true 3D audio with a home theater system will be superior to binaural audio in headphones. I hope they did that.
That was not really my intention. Well, there are also many game series where you do not necessarily have to play the predecessors. So before I sink 60+ hours into an older game I would at least just google it. DD's strength is exploration and not storytelling. If you play both games relatively...
The patch noticeable improved my frametimes and stuttering in Vernworth and other locations like Checkpoint Rest town. Surely it's still not perfect though, but I noticed it right away. Rarely there is a bug where performance plummets after you start the game. Feels like a performance bug when...
The new update fucked up FSR3 so bad. 120FPS looks like 60FPS, 70FPS like 35FPS. Also input lag feels worse. It always fascinates me how something this bad still makes its way to the public.
No issues with my 13700K so far, I enabled CPU Lite Load (9) in the bios though, everything else is at default. Played all the games Tomshardware mentioned. TLOU2 shader compilation ran at least 5-7 times due to driver updates and it was never an issue. My core clock in games is always at 5327Mhz.
The 57" Odyssey has VRR so there should not be any jerkiness. At least if we are talking about normal FPS fluctuations and not frametime spikes/issues.
445 watts in MW3? How much more is that compared to undervolting? 150-180 watts? I will never understand this. Where is the actual benefit? This game already runs at 120fps on average. Who cares about some dips with GSYNC/VRR? It won't make you a better player. Imagine turning on like 20-30 LED...
I don't like the nighttime and weather where they tried to simulate a foggy night? The image looks so soft and blurry then. I first thought this was a bug lol
Edit: Or maybe it is a bug? I'm so confused. It looks weirdly bad.
Specular Reflections at Unobtanium max settings is the main FPS killer by far. I'm losing 28FPS (80 to 52) going from very high to max. It seems to increase the resolution of the reflection. You can see this when you stare on the water and look for plants reflections for example. I don't see a...
