Your OLED nut hugging is getting way out of hand. Both technologies have their place and I do not consider one universally superior to the other currently.
What you're doing is just obnoxious. You're like the OLED version of that PG32UQX guy.
I think what he's getting at is that OLED isn't really a great technology, all things considered. Contrast is good and pixels can fully switch off. Hurray! Other than that, and the power savings from OLED, it's not really that great of a tech...
I hear ya, my 42" Panny Plasma from 2008 is getting a little too small the past few years. Just can't bring myself to get a 55" or 65" LG OLED yet. Gonna just wait til it dies and then get one from Costco.
If only we could get another AAA Crysis game in the same manner as the 1st. Not a watered down corridor shooter but one that builds on the strengths of the first while avoiding the mistakes.
On the bright side (ba-dum, tssss) my 27GR95QE will probably last forever without getting burn in, because it literally can't get bright enough to burn anything. I still enjoy using it though. Dark room with no reflections, looks fine.
I do have a mini LED lol. But I also have an OLED as well because mini LED doesn't get anywhere near 240Hz OLED in terms of motion clarity. Until OLED monitors get up to at least the current TV level brightness, it won't be the death knell of...
I think in the past few pages you can read from a couple people who have done this.
"Aperture Grille" on youtube also did a video about it.
In most sitautions, meaning DX11 and DX12, it works great, only 3ms lag.
Though it has a significant...
Honestly, this thread title could read "Acura NSX, the death knell of Honda Civics".
LCD's ain't going nowheres, not even gaming panels. For most people, price will always be king.
I’d say get a Pro. Had my Pro for a long time and loved it. It’s quiet, good performance and frankly looks good. I hate what they’ve done with the PS5 design.
Dumb question. Is it possible to have a powerful GPU like an RTX perform all the rendering, and then send the output to another video card in the system with analog output?
The Pro is still worth considering since it will super sample the supported higher res games down to 1080p, while also offering higher performance (60 FPS) in the games that support it as well. Which most, if not all decent games that came out...
