Been looking on Amazon and it appears that no one makes a multiple USB C Hub with just the small connectors on it, which I'd like to have. Am I stuck using an adaptor then?

I have them mounted on my house and well I'm normally not away for months on end either. Sounds like you need a hardwired setup. I use Wifi and batteries for mine and it does what I need it to do.

I've generally had good luck with my EdgeRouter from them....not sure what your saying.

I'm not replacing it right away....and if I don't practice what I preach at my job (Life cycle support/cybersecurity-replace your damn equipment regularly) that makes me bit two faced. Plus $250 for a new switch isn't that expensive.
