I assume you tried to reset it? or at least reset the network settings? I forget whats in the boot menu but you could look around in there.

forget the quest 2 and get the 3. the edge to edge clarity is worth it. I think you may need better hardware. sim racing in VR is pretty sweet. I've tried ACC and didn't like it much, F1 22 is what I've been playing. Automobilista 2 is considered the best for VR from what I've read.

I had a 7900 xtx and now a 4080. the 7900 xtx uses 100 watts while idling while the 4080 uses 50 if you have more than one monitor. Also it seems like for VR the encoder on the 4080 produces better quality images...

For the text clarity issue, I don't think we've had a oled that offers above 110 ppi. 32" 4k has about 136 ppi if I remember right so the increased ppi should help. Would burn in be a bigger problem with higher ppi though?

I returned and got a replacement and its slightly better, I think. Probably gonna keep it.

the fans on my msi 4080 trio seem to run most of the time while sitting at the desktop. gpu temp: 34c hot spot: 42c memory: 36c the board power draw is 52 watts with two monitors. was 25 watts with my 3070.

I probably would have kept the c2 if it did 144hz, although the terrible text quality bothered me more. video cards do pump out high frames at 4k. my 3070 was able to do 120 fps at 4k in overwatch 2.
