The level scaling is odd. It might've always been like this, but I'm definitely noticing it in this replay. I ran into a glowing ghoul that literally took 10 minutes of running around, 20 molotovs, 10 grenades, 200 rounds of minigun fire, and probably 20-30 rounds of 38, 308, and 10mm rounds...

For what it's worth, I feel like 60fps feels about as smooth as it ever has when you're running on high end hardware. At first I was disappointed, but after playing it for a few minutes I stopped caring.

I'm apparently the problem. I like it.

Having never touched the later content, I'm enjoying the Vault 88 section of the game. There's a lot to do, the storyline is pretty amusing, and they're throwing tons of bosses, building materials, and XP at me. I think the zaniness that occurs in Fallout 3 and Oblivion has me scared to go too...

There's still something to be said for the Xbox being better than a comparably priced PC. At least for gaming. It might not be #1 console, but it gives people access to a Game Pass subscription and does it way better than a $500 PC. I see a need for one unless PC parts pricing falls off a cliff...

Akuma tends to pile on the damage in ideal situations, although Ryu/Ken often do more damage hit for hit. They always give him a boatload of extra tools, though. He has usually played the role of "glass cannon" with his super low health. The catch is that Capcom has almost never balanced him...

With so many fighting game characters claiming to use "karate" and doing a bunch of crazy supernatural shit, I appreciate Lidia.

No technical issues for me, although I forgot how brutal the game can be via level scaling. You can end up in some nigh unwinnable situations at times.

Looks like the same 'ol Akuma. If that's what you want, that's exactly what they delivered. I'm sure the waves of people who just keep jumping backwards and tossing fireballs are ecstatic.

If I get fed up with Fallout 4, I'll probably just start a new game of 76. I didn't think it was half bad back when it first came out and people say it's worlds better now. The gunplay in 76 much more natural than in 4. Since there's no VATS, it kinda had to be.

Good to know. My settings from 6 years ago were apparently retained as I didn't change anything. I started looking for a full-on fix, but apparently the mod loader people are using doesn't work with this update yet.

The weapon debris/RTX thing seems odd. I mean...that has to be a pretty big chunk of the population playing this game right now. You'd think that would be a priority with this update, but apparently not. If isn't fixable, maybe disable it automatically when it does the hardware detection thing?

Welp, I probably waited for this patch for no reason :P Luckily I only just reinstalled the game last week, so no big deal.
