Funny - I've read posts lately of people that didn't know CPUs came in slot form... and you've got a slotket!
Looks like a Golden Orb cpu cooler too - I remember when that was as good as it gets.
"This is as good as it gets." - me on this same page...
Swapped in one of the new Ultitubes, switched to EK ram block, changed the ZMT in the back over to acrylic, turned the pumps around, mounted the aquaero 6lt/splitty/farbwerk to the motherboard tray.
Rev. X :D
I can't even count how many times I've taken this computer apart to change something, to have to change something else. What I have now is the best possible outcome given the cooling equipment, from flow to load temperatures - it can't get any better.
We also used 7/16" tubing on 1/2" barbs. That offered a bit more flow, and the only way I could take it off was by cutting it - like you said, without any clamps on it.
I've done both and currently have a PETG setup, with some ZMT in the back running to additional pumps. That being said, I've...
Making a little more progress on this one. Went to Optimus Foundation and a 3900x. I've still got a few fittings to swap out, and going to go to the barrowch flow meter, and find a 90* fitting combination to mount it to the bottom outlet of the rear D5 pump.
Thanks
... Rev 3 is getting rid of the u that comes out of the pump res combo. Lol
I'm mounting the other d5 to the rear fan, putting on an Optimus black and nickel CPU block, a few 45* fittings, and a heat killer PCH block.
Thanks
The flow meter is the Bykski aluminum unit.
I was hesitant on the aluminum, but after researching,I think I'm good. What I've found is that the anodizing process inhibits galvanic corrosion, and I'm using mayhem's biocide+ with their corrosion inhibitor.
