Like the title says Im looking for a cheap ram set 8g+ (4x2gb or better) *** No more than 4 sticks obv.***
Just looking to surprise a friend who refuses to scrap his old rig. Not looking to break bank so the cheaper the better. Thanks in advance!
the mobo and ram is for me to revive an old...
Yeah I sent him a PM. Doing this on a DiEPhone so I couldn't search. Thank you very much!
And that is a killer price. Going to snag three just because. Haha
Looking for a genuine key for a friends kids new gaming computer he's building.
Needs to be authentic, not one of those keys you cracked using KMS loader or whatever.
Seen these go for like $30-$40 in the past. Hoping to still get something around there.
Thank you both very much. That Thermaltake is just about what I was looking for. Was hoping to be a little less shiny, but I think this will suit my needs until I up my spending money to a better case in a little while =D
Cheers!
Parts are already ordered, and a basic idea of the dimensions required is here:
MB: ASUS x99 Pro
PSU: 1000w standard ATX
GPU: Running my twin EVGA 570 SC HD cards
CPU cooler is a 120mm Corsair H55 Liquid Cooler
Twin Optical drives ****** This is where I am getting stuck *******
I...
I have these, really quiet unless you use them to suck air into the case, much better used to push air, either way the noise only goes up a little while not pushing but pulling air. Otherwise awesome fans!
GLWS free bump
I've got two from my father, both obtained legally.
Asking $40+ shipping a piece I orginally got a 12 port and these two 24 ports; one might be 25? I don't know too much about them, they both work and are tested, one is actually hooked up in my house haha.
I'm keeping the 12 port and selling...
Like the title says, I need a cheap; and let me re-emphasize the cheap part, little, preferably quiet, video card that will surpass the onboard graphics of this board I am using for a media server
Intel Celeron G1850 & ASUS B85M-G R2.0 Combo
That is my exact setup...
Good to know, I wasnt buying it and I havnt been looking for a case or a psu, I figured it couldnt be an amazing deal, just figured Id pass on any savings that I can find.
my sig is pretty out of date. I am still using the q6700 though
I understand that my severely outdated technology can be outperformed by newer upgrades but I figured id give this old rig one last shot at redemption and just get it reflowed for $20. We shall see what happens next. If all else...
well that was the exact answer I needed, thanks for the plethora of information. Ill see what is going to happen in the next few days, I got a connection with a company that will reflow my old board and see if it fixes it, no harm no foul if it is not repairable. And I can throw in my old xbox...
understandable. I just keep looking at the future and saying, well what if something else breaks, or what if I need to upgrade because as of the current moment I cannot, in fact I have no computer. I just keep answering these on my phone.
But saying I was able to afford a bit more on a better...
Well just sayin if I spent the little extra to get it what would my performance gains be, I saw a few for like $300 at frys; again no other computer store super close I'm planning on driving down to Micro Center to look at what they have
Sounds like a plan, I'm still debating on what to do, what would be the performance gain if any at all by lets say a core i7 with 6 unlocked cores, 12 gb ram, on that Asus rampage v board and my 570 hdsc
alright! thanks for all the support.
I have a few questions though, would I see any increase in performance if I did upgrade to lets say an ASUS rampage board with an i7 and some good ram?
or am I still wasting my time and money on a system that is going to be bottle necked by that nvidia...
hard drives, the fourth one is on the other side of the case, sorry in advance for picture two, it would not take a picture without the lines and there was nothing in front of the camera.
currently no as my frys actually has a sale once in a while on them, last week there was an LG 3d screen with 1080p high res for like $100
as for the case, why yes it is, to be honest I just like it for its nice clean look, plus it sits in a closet and I only open the doors when I need to use...
well as of this moment I have no computer since my motherboard is dead dead. Seeing as how I cannot get a replacement 780i I see no other option other than just making a good/decent build with a new motherboard, CPU, PSU, etc.
Well I still have a good GPU my 570HDSC I dont think I need anything stronger than that for a while, I can always double up and SLI, which is why I would like that capability on the board. Or even stack up more if I need to.
