I'm seriously tempted myself but.... everything I play runs "good enough" at the moment.
But, the "future-proofing" with that additional cache.... Tricky business

So I didn't realize till after purchasing that GameStream is no longer a thing...
Is Steam Link a decent enough substitute?? (I really don't wanna mess with moonlight/sunshine or whatever it is)
- This sucks cuz game streaming is the sole purpose I bought it
Yup, did the same thing myself this morning before I left the house....
Started dling the offline installer files of the old .163 version before GoG updates, just in case.
- I still have my modded Skyrim set to do not update on Steam ever since right before the Anniversary Edition released...
I never cared about the box as I did my research and purchased whatever best fit my budget at the time.
Whether it was a goofy robot on my GF4 ti 4200 or some ATI Ruby nonsense on the 9800 Pro, it didn't influence my purchase whatsoever....
And I typically only kept the boxes for the first 30...
Atlantic City is a free expansion, the DLC you are talking about is a cosmetic bundle:
The High Stakes Bundle includes the following bonus in-game C.A.M.P. items and cosmetics:
Casino Quarter C.A.M.P. Kit: Build your very own Atlantic City.
Civic Duty Power Armor: The Munis keep the city...
Recent-ish stuff I have found good:
Against the Storm
Remnant II
Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart
Other games that I don't see people on the forum talking about enough:
Sekiro (yea it's a souls-like, but it's the closest thing to a modern Tenchu game that we'll ever see... So yea - be a ninja...
Yeahhh I installed the Welcome to Paradise wabbajack pack fairly recently myself..
Pretty sure I'm gonna skip this next gen update at least for now (like with my OG modded Witcher 3 install)
Well Fallout 76 vanished from Amazon Prime Gaming like half an hour ago from my browser on PC.
Only reason I bothered to check was so I could redeem FO76 on my Xbox One....
And that opened a whole other can of worms where I was trying to link my Xbox to Prime Gaming and urgggg if Google isn't...
I bought the original on launch day along with convincing several friends to buy into it....
It was.... forgettable?
Actually reinstalled Hellgate London 2023 like a year ago just to see what was up - I think I played for like 45 minutes
- I was on IRC before H:L launched and chatted with...
I see this patch fixed the 30 fps ship UI... Which drove me crazy.
That, plus FSR 3 and all the bug fixes, is now as good a time as any for a first real playthrough??
Devs confirmed they will NOT be incorporating Rainbow into the game ever (due to concerns w color-blind users)..
So yea, Rainbow Filter is still needed/essential imo.
It's ridiculous I can't just buy RA2 seperately...
I've already got the C&C/RA1 remaster along with C&C3+Kanes Wrath and RA3+Exp (Never cared for Generals... I know, i know - blasphemy)
There are def some serious overhauls, but as far as essentials:
I'd say there's two I can't imagine playing without.... (besides GrimTex now that that's finally been completed)
1. Rainbow Filter - color-codes your items/affixes etc ...
My first taste of VRR was a 75hz Freesync/G-Sync Compatible 1080p display.... It was AWESOME (at the time)
Me personally, I just cap everything at 90 FPS to keep frame-times in check and everything appears smooth as butter to Me
- 'Course I grew up in an era were 30+ fps was considered amazing
Bought a used Xbox One this week for the sole purpose of playing Diablo 3 couch co-op with the woman..
(FYI xbox's D3 complete edition or w.e. it's called is currently on sale for 20 bucks)
Welp, I finally loaded this up and played through the first "zone" or whatever the lava area is called.
I mean...... It's def good but it doesn't feel very "impactful".
Grim Dawn and hell, even Lost Ark NAILED that at least.
I dunno, I definitely intend to spend more time with this over the...
