a couple bitspower dual 45 rotaries, but the tubing passes through two sets of silicone grommets on the 800D.
Every 4-6 months for both.
In an XSPC dual 355 pump-housing/reservoir 5 1/4 bay thing.
I'm planning on selling this desktop after...
Well, I wouldn't be running two 6990s, just one. AFAIK, crossfire doesn't scale past 2 GPUs anyway, so that'd be pointless.
I probably will want to WC the card(s) soon after buying them, as most modern cards are just plain loud, so there's the benefit of paying $100 less or so for blocks. Am...
I'll keep that in mind should I decide to try another 355 or set of them.
I'm running 3 XSPC rads, a triple and two singles in an 800D, so there's quite a bit of tubing to contend with. The dual loop configuration also made maintenance a bit easier. They ran for close to two years before...
I was running two MCP-355s, but both of those have failed since, and I'm left without a gaming machine in the meantime. The new MCP35X looks alright, but for $100 I'd like to know it's up to the task. If it fares well, I may purchase a second in the next 6 months to a year for dual loops again...
I'm running two core 216 GTX 260s, but the bandwidth just isn't there for most games. While I've been fine playing at 1080p for the past few months, with AMD's HD 6990 around the corner, it's time to start thinking about an upgrade. An added benefit of the single card is that it's cheaper to...
I simply don't have room for this beast of a case any more, but I'm sure someone can make use of it.
It's the mirror black finish Extended U2-UFO with 3 big window panels, horizontal motherboard brace (for horizontal mounting), standard back, and duality front. Great condition, -- $350

Sounds like a good replacement option for my GTX 260s when the time comes, as long as they can handle 2560x1600, though I'd imagine the 5870s would be better suited for that resolution.
It will be an interesting read, that's for sure. Thanks for the reviews guys, and keep 'em coming!
I got my MacBook at some heavily discounted student pricing. That, and the fact that it was a discontinued model made for a pretty compelling price point.
Granted, that's nowhere near what Apple is expecting your average consumer to spend, but it worked out in my favor.
It's a nice little...
Yeah, but I'm fine with lowering settings as required, as long as the game looks good. I'll start thinking about upgrading when I can't get above "Medium" settings in games.
Exciting stuff.
That being said, I think I'm going to skip this generation (or at least wait until the lower-priced refresh comes out). I still love my GTX 260s too much to trade them in just yet. Especially considering I got them both for ~$300.
Unless one of these cards will offer 150% to...
That looks to be exactly what I need. Thanks a bunch.
Anyone have an idea of what to expect out of one (and two when my RMA gets back) water cooled GTX 260s?
I've messed with RivaTuner before, but I couldn't find anything that appeared to be realated to overclocking. The cards are EVGA GTX 260s, so I'll take a look at EVGA precision. I might as well look at nTune as well.
What do I need to do to to set these up in RAID 0 and install my operating system. I've looked on OCZ's forum, but the only guide I find is for a single drive.
Two of my three radiators are leaking. I assume it would only be a matter of time before all there were affected, so I'd like to figure out what's wrong and resolve it.
The radiators involved are a Swiftech MCR220, MCR320, and MCR320 stack.
The stack has been plugged and is being used as a...
The only modern drive in my system is a 1.5TB Seagate.
For the most part, I'm just looking for improved system responsiveness, faster load times, etc..
I could buy another 1.5TB Seagate and pair them in a RAID array, or I could get an SSD.
From what I've gathered, OCZ's Vertex series is...
Let me know how it goes. Thanks to your favorable experiences with Dell, I'm currently enjoying my new 3007WFP-HC.
Couldn't find it on that site -- what benefits does the 7001 have over the 6001?
When you say that the marantz looks better for my audio needs, do you mean that it has superior audio to the other receivers mentioned, or that it supportsmy needs without costing as much as the others?
I will be moving to 5.1 at some point. The television is 1080p. I'd rather spend the extra...
Dolby headphone would be good if I wanted to use headphones with an xbox or something. Primary use will be PC, but I will watch some TV. What receiver would you recommend?
So how would you go about connecting everything for games? Soundcard with cmss 3d connected directly to headphones? Can you...
Then that's what i'll most likely be getting.
Paired with a couple pairs of headphones, a pair of ELT525s and a yet to be determined subwoofer, it should make for a good college setup.
