Flashed a modded BIOS on my reference 980 TI and so far pushed it to 1550 with 121% power target and 1.281 volts. The card stays in the low 40s under load. :)
Couple of quick dirty pics showing off the new loop! About a 25 degree difference between the Cooler Master Seidon 120V and this. :D:D

Now the 980ti is the loudest thing in the rig, I ordered an EVGA backplate for it, gonna paint it black then wait for actual water blocks for it...
I'm building a custom loop too and went with Alphacool.

Thickest radiator I could fit inside (top location) a Enthoo Luxe without modding.
I already placed the order! They didn't have any, the Mayhems should work fine? I really want actual 980 Ti blocks that say 980 Ti on them. I know it's just aesthetics, but I can wait a little bit longer and go through the hassle of adding it to the loop. :D
These 2 would be prefect, but I'm not paying $200+ for blocks that say Titan X on them:D

I'm about to hit the buy button! I swapped out...
Thanks!
I like how clear tubing with clear coolant looks.
I personally don't like how the Apogee blocks look. I like the heaterkiller block's simpler design and with red compression fittings should look really good. :D
but thanks for the tips!
I completely forgot about PT Nuke. I will definitely get that instead of the EK coolant.
Yeah, it will fit there. I picked it because I like the look of tube/pump combo. Is there a better setup? The case comes with a couple mounting brackets that fit most types of pumps/res, plus there's a...
Decided to build a custom loop for my rig even though it's probably a waste of money:D
Anyways here's the list, you guys see anything wrong with it or maybe have suggestions for better parts? I have a Enthoo Luxe so almost anything fits inside it and I'll be using my Corsair SP120 fans for...
Got them from the Last of Us poster collection.

Really awesome poster book, the paper they are printed on is really thick.
My setup, nothing too fancy. I saw the movie posters on a previous post and really liked them so I ordered a couple from the artist. I have a few other framed posters around the room as well.
Yea, he doesn't want to buy used and go through the hassle of trying to get his money back if something happens to the part.
The i5 build seems really good, I switched a couple of parts around and got this:
PC Hound Part List
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 ($191.98 @ Newegg)
Motherboard...
He only has $400 to spend so waiting on rebates isn't ideal and Amazon charges sales taxes in AZ making some of the parts a tad more expensive than from Newegg, plus no Prime membership.
I did switch out the PSU with the one you recommended, it's $15 cheaper before the rebate.
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming and web browsing.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$400, shipping not included.
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Arizona...
Instead of making a new thread, I'll ask my question here. :D
I'm also looking for a new case in the $100-$150 range. I currently have a slightly modded Corsair 230T. All the drive cages have been removed/cut a la the Define S.
The other requirements are it needs to be water cooling...
So you're willing to pay $650+ for a GPU but not $15 to get it shipped? I can see not wanting to pay taxes on it but shipping come on now lol.

Just pulled the trigger the EVGA version on Newegg. :D
It's my first EVGA card and first Nvidia card in years 7+ years, upgrade from a OC'd 290x. I just couldn't wait any longer had to scratch the itch. :p
I have a massive upgrade itch! Either wait for the 390X, get a FreeSync monitor or join the other side and splurge on a GTX 980, but I don't think it's a big enough jump from a OC'd 290X :(
Looks like everything is here, 12 screws plus the ones that hold the shroud in place and the back bracket. Needs some new thermal pads and a little dusting but other than that it's still good.
This is going to be be mine next case when I get back into water cooling. My current case is actually modded like that. I hacked off all the drive bays and optical bays :D
