Doom 3 BFG Lost Misson. Added RBDoom-3-BFG and a HD texture pack… everything is really shiny now but it’s way better than stock. Having a blast with it.
I have a bunch of old winamp installers from like 97 and 98 and stuff. Was my daily driver for a long while. ...and one of the best things about winamp was Milk Drop and Acid Spunk.
Indeed. Time to create that Beer and Wine expansion I've been dreaming about... project Schmorgeswein! ;)
Seriously though, give this a month and I bet the modding community comes up with some cool stuff.
Doom 3 was playable on my 9700 pro, 1024x768 at med or low IQ... not super great but finished the game and enjoyed it on that card. My buddy upgraded to a 9800 pro when that came out and Doom 3 ran flat out well on that card at 1024x768 high IQ settings. I then played through it again on a...
I have the same card and those numbers look pretty close to what I see when the card is under duress.
FYI - The gaming x trio doesn't have a vapor chamber cooler.. just a normal heat pipe cooler on it.
I hope that's successful. the bad reviews were not about the game itself.. I hate it when people give bad reviews based on external forces or circumstances which relate to the product but are not specific to the product.
I wish this had been more on my radar before the 15 dollar price increase but whatevs.. It checks off a lot of boxes for me so picked it up and gonna sink some time into it.
I am always the oldest guy on my Apex squads ... by far ... I have a young sounding voice so it usually doesn't come up but people straight up don't believe me when it does lol. 55 now and Imma keep gaming until I physically can't
ikr? I never knew that either. I rode a 9700 Pro out for a long ass while skipping over the whole FX era and then went straight to a 6800GT. I did watch from the sidelines and it seemed like people were pretty underwhelmed by the FX cards for the most part.. well until the final couple...
There are a few of these type of 3dfx commercials..

izx AnalogOzerik - I was all about the Riva TNT and TNT2 way back when.. loved them.
Cool, thanks.. yeah I saw keys for it for a lot less than MRSP on (34.99 on amazon) but I think I'll get what I want out of it with game pass... The game is visually stunning and wow when the ship takes off the audio is incredible.. my whole desk shakes.. I need to put more time into it as...
Starfield... finally... first go. forgot it was on game pass and I got three months free with my LeGo.. I can't believe it's still 70 bucks to purchase on steam.
Pax Dei alpha 2...UE5 based mmorpg. First game since LOTRO to really give me a certain warm fuzzy feel about the environment. PNG (apologies for the UI elements.. I guess there is a secret SS mode but it wasn’t listed on the keys layout)
I tried this game for a bit and the kb mouse support was pretty bad.. idk. Beautiful looking game and maybe I should have just used my controller for it but felt real alpha so refunded. I’ll maybe circle back to it after a while.
Pax Dei is pretty good so far.. I built a little base and have run around a lot.. getting my bearings. Gathering isn't too tedious. Game is gorgeous.
EDIT: Servers are melting down today lol.
Intel has consistently updated drivers for these cards with large performance and stability gains across the board.. At launch these cards were rough but now totally an option in their price/performance category.. I look forward to what Battlemage will bring.
Glad I stuck with my 13700kf. I had to also reel in the voltage that MSI was dosing my cpu with at default.. it made the cpu shoot up over 100c during just the normal intel bench marking tool.
EDIT: I wonder if the higher default P core clocks on the i9's are just too on the cusp of being...
Nice.. I have it installed and am going to play today if the servers hold up. Gonna try it on my Legion Go also just for grins. I like crafting if the gathering portion goes fast enough and the mechanics are good, environment is nice etc.. This is an UE5 game so should look pretty nice at the...
Interesting.. I remember it was a quake2 bummer cause of that openGL thing. Maybe it was only software support ??
Edit: It’s been a hot minute.. i remember the TNT being the quake2 upgrade that blew my mind. The 128 did D3D at high resolutions which was killer. It was a great card. But the...
I tried No Rest for the Wicked yesterday (early access) and the mouse/kb support is jacked. It's very pretty though and seems like after a year of further development it could be a really good game.
I tried to get into Dragon's Dogma 2 yesterday and I really want to like the game but I just...
The game is gorgeous and the mechanics are good.. I like the NPC following.. like Guild Wars on steroids. BUT... I feel like i have to spent so much time in an out of the terrible menu / map system that it really kills the experience for me.. I mean the normal map doesn't show you your quest...
Thanks for confirming. I bought the game two weeks ago, created a character and only played for like 30 mins and haven't gone back to it. I need a free day to nerd out on this game!
I got my Pax Dei alpha invite..
Your spot is reserved! We're excited to welcome you to our upcoming Alpha, codenamed Wilderness.
This Alpha test is set to start on April 23rd, 12:00 pm UTC (14:00 CET; 6:00 am PST; 9:00 am EST) and conclude on April 30th at 10:00pm UTC (23:00 CET; 2:00 pm PST...
I need to finish that game.. I think I was on the last chapter. Probably a good place to start my gaming this weekend.
I want to get into System Shock remastered too.. I loved the demo and it looks amazing on an OLED. The colors really pop like crazy and the blacks wow. In a completely dark...
Cool.. I used to work in Sunnyvale/Santa Clara CA and spent so much time at that Frys omg.. I also visited Microcenter at Stevens Creek Blvd but it closed up. It was a nice store which actually had decent water cooling parts at a brick and mortar! That store seemed to always be packed and was...
My friend got one of these on release and played a lot of Half Life on it.. I wasn't that impressed with it tbh... Another friend had a voodoo2 SLI system which I thought looked a little better... but the 256 was faster for sure. I loved my Riva TNT in 98... and the TNT2 when that dropped in...
Picked this game up finally this weekend and finished last night. What an unexpectedly wonderful game. From the story to the mechanics plus visual and auditory vibes.. really well done. Not too long (10 hours) and I don't foresee much replay value but I definitely had a great time playing. I...
