I've got 3 dell 2209WAs, 1 (center) hooked up over DVI and the other two are hooked up over VGA with adapters (I have an eyefinity 6 card). In landscape I have no tearing issues, but in portrait I get TONS of tearing even with Vsync on. Is there any way to stop the tearing?

Is this even feasible? I have a 5870 and a receiver but no TV. Basically, I just want the audio from the HDMI (Because it's uncompressed) but don't care for the video. Is there a way to disable the video without disabling the audio?
