I followed those settings as well and i too have not noticed a difference when using a different .icc profile from the default installed. Anyone care to share what exactly these profiles do?

I noticed the monitor came with a display port cable, so out of curiousity I connected this to my XFX 5870 and low and behold the input lag was decreased to the same level as the VGA input!!! :eek: The difference is there and it is noticeable, at least for me. It is better than the DVI...

Agree! Get out now before it's too late and you spent several G's on the computer. Over a year from now all this gear will be worthless anyways! If the 5770 is capable at playing your games now then get it and sell the 5870 while it is at a premium.
