I went from crossfired 5870's 2gb to a 7970. When the 7970 finally died I went to a 280x and picked up a 5700xt about 6 months ago. I'm happy they are actually competing on the top tier again. I have zero plans to every buy another nvidia card if I have other options. Just prefer AMD.

How long has it been since AMD truly competed at the top end of the performance spectrum? HD 5870's?
