Actually the problem IS most likely vsync. I had the exact same problem, and it would only go away if I turned off vsync or lowered the effects until I maintained CONSTANT 60fps. Supposedly NVIDIA has some sort of "adaptive vsync" or something along those lines that takes care of the hitching...
Batman: AA - Scarecrow sequence when the screen corrupts as if your video card is artifacting. Almost fell out of my seat thinking my video card was taking a dump.
When using HDMI you can also pipe out either RCA (white & red cables) or SPDIF (opticable) from the 360. I have the same monitor and an elite 360, my setup has video straight to the gateway, and the audio is passed to my AVR (which hooks up to my speakers.)
If all you have is usb speakers, the...
No, actually that'd be true. You have the right to your opinion and way you choose to phrase it. However, the way you choose to phrase things directly impacts the effectiveness of what you are trying to say.
This.
Sounds like you're having a uncommon issue. Maybe time for some tech support email/phone calling?
The main thing me and my friends have with GFWL is the additional resource/memory usage it takes. It's not really even DRM (from what I understand *ANY* GFWL key unlocks all GFWL games.)
I'm actually kinda surprised nobody mentioned the saturn controller for that generation of games. It's a much better controller for old-school gaming (since it was actually from the era of a d-pad for controls.)
You can even get a USB one for super cheap - a 3 month subscription to PlaySega...
1.) What's a CRT projector? CRT stands for Cathode Ray Tube, which inherently means it's a tube based display.. so I'm not sure what you're talking about.
2.) CRT displays are often superior to LCD technology in color depth and refresh rate. Unless you have a 120 Hz LCD you're usually stuck...
Video/Audio out of sync isn't likely a network problem - it's usually a decoding/transcoding problem. Your files will probably either not play from the USB drive, or will display the same sync errors. Network errors manifest with buffering and choppiness issues.
I was using PS3 Media Server...
I like how the website gives an ominous "better activate your games before July 31st" warning. Wonder what happens when someone needs to reinstall after then.
News flash: Companies spin facts, and even outright say things that aren't true. A tweet from Microsoft's anyone can only be trusted so far. Especially when it's something that could be used to help market/sell their products.
Even if this is true, it doesn't mean anything. Halo appeals to frat house "bro" sensibilities. It's like saying PBR sells more racks of beer than all of your town's microbrews put together.
Obviously PBR is the better beer. Right?
It should still be there... I had $$ in there for a long time.
Seriously call them, they're gonna want to help reassure you that spending money on their system is safe and easy. Otherwise you wont do it again ;)
Also, it's been a while since I bought anything on PSN... but don't you get a...
I really don't get how people don't like fallout 3... but to each his own I guess.
Personally, I'd call it one of the best games of all time. It's definitely in my top 5.
