hahaha yeah my 4 year old lost the remote to the roku and within a couple of minutes I was using my phone to control it. definitely and underrated feature
just another update. no regrets. Excellent screen on time and the camera is far superior. here is a night photo I took in my backyard (in pro mode) a couple of weeks after getting it with no editing. I am planning on taking it out to the mountains soon with a tripod to take some better night...
replaced my 9 non pro with the 12 last week. My faith in 1+ has been restored. I'm getting 7 to 8+ hours of screen time between charges if I charge to 100%. I decided I'm going to use their "smart charging" where it only charges to 80% just for battery longevity. The cameras are also a huge...
yeah with Intel buying all of the next gen machines from ASML(?) for the next few years, I'm thinking we're going to see a pretty big jump from INTC in their fabs
I totally will. My experience with the 9 wasn't terrible, but extremely disappointing, and with how poorly the reviews on the 10 were, I figured the brand was dead. Although the 9 being water proof was great for when I went to the gulf coast or tipped over in my kayak and I'm going to be mindful...
I think they gave me 200 in credit plus the 100 extra trade in credit for preorder for 300 in total for my 128Gb 9 non pro. OnePlus since the 11 is getting their grove back and it looks like the 12 is steller, especially for the price cause after my disappointing experience with the 9 i was...
They have 8 core and 12 core Ryzens... know something that will blow your mind? They even have wiat for it... 16 core Ryzens that you can buy right now and put in your AM4 or AM5 mobos :nailbiting:
I would encourage you to read some threads about the mobos. the PCI layouts are pretty week and they still suffer from stupid slow bootup times. You have a pretty capable computer currently so waiting 3-4 months (Im guessing mid to late spring is when we should hear about the next round of mobos...
Wait. While My 7800X3D build is fantastic, the X670E mobos leave something to be desired. I'd wait until we have more info on mobos built with the X7xx chipsets before having to build a whole new rig.
Raytracing is pretty dang amazing and youtube videos, due to compression, really don't show off how awesome it looks. I have a 3090 and have no problems playing CP2077 with everything on max at 3440 x 1440.

that KB is great for the money and pretty close to what you posted.
8xxx CPUs will be out some time in 1H24 I read somewhere. 9xxx CPUs are likely 2 years away. I have yet to see any leaks about 2nd gen AM5 chipsets. as far as costs go Domingo is correct.
It would have been fantastic if they could have finished the last 3 books but the 30 year time jump between book 6 and 7 I could see it being a little tricky. The other thing is that the show really needed more than 10 episodes per season to flesh out the books...Like 13 episodes per season...
If you really enjoy thinking sci-fi checck out The Expanse and For All Mankind. Excelllent shows and The Expanse I think is one of the best sci-fi shows ever made.
Are the lenses similar to the Q2? I got some of those custom Rx lenses (I wear glasses) that clip on to my Q2 and wonder if I can swap them over to the Q3 or will I have to get a new set meant for the Q3
I was strongly considering the Q9 Neo as it's a significnatly larger monitor and could be had for about $300 more than the DWF but between my concern of its foot print on my desk and what i have read about Samsung QC lately I went with the DWF. But damn for 1200 more than the DWF I hope that...
I went from a LG 27UL650-W to this monitor and damn it's freaking amazing. While it's only been a week of using it for both gaming and office work (WFH) these OLED ultrawide panels are game changers. It really is true once you go OLED you never want to go back.
On another note, yeah the...
IMO a 4090 will be a significant increase in performance from your 2080ti and your 10th gen i9 won't be some huge bottleneck the few others here are saying. It will be a bottleneck, but not a significant one. I'll give you an example... when I went from a gtx1080 to a rtx3090 in my 6700k I could...
if you dont care about ray tracing why not just get a 7900XTX? Its about 2/3 the price of a 4090 and has very close raster performance. Once the new intel socket comes out or if you like the performance of the Ryzen 8xxx series you can then upgrade the rest of your machine if you feel like you...
Typically turn the old machine into some other computing device for the household. Like my 6700k is now soley a media server/HTPC. OP putting in a 4090 in his rig will be a big jump in performance and save the money for intels next socket 12 to 18 months from now.
And please let's stop using Starfield as the new bench mark. I'm enjoying it and it's a fun game but it's a poorly coded buggy Bethesda release on a game engine that's well over a decade old.
