Demos weren't full priced back then, they used to free. If they're locking content in a paid game behind a pay wall it needs to be clear so the player doesn't start using the content before being walled off. Pay per mission in your $70 is probably the next step.
It wasn't UE, it was an art style that was popular around that time. Example of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter which used an in house engine. This has a bit more of a yellow look, but the overall design is still very brown. The sequel, GRAW 2, was even more brown. 2005-2010 this was a very...
I don't mind it being a paid DLC. But allowing you to start a quest line and then blocking it off behind a paywall is predatory and a shitty business practice. I also think it would be a lame DLC in the first place because it sounds like more mission boards, which the game already gives you an...
Older article, but length will be more similar to Outer Worlds than Skyrim. I for one am happy about that. If they focus more on story telling like they imply, that would be good. I don't like RPG games that focus on spending hours grinding/fetch questing though that seems to be what the...

He seems like he really enjoys the games, which is nice. And also why I prefer voice actors over Hollywood actors that many games are pushing these days. They just take a big check, record their lines, and forget about the game a few days later...
This and Metal Gear Solid Delta are my most anticipated announced games currently. I hope there is not another delay, though I can see one or both slipping past 2024.
House Va’ruun finally gets some explanation. Essentially unmentioned in the main game, though I have yet to do two of the faction quest lines. Otherwise I have done something like 90% of the quests.
Latest news on updates/DLC.
Game will be moving from UE4 to UE 5.3. Modding SDK will come after it transitions to UE5. DLC 1 delayed slightly. UE5.3 has better PSO caching so hopefully less stuttering.
The campaign looks interesting. Though it is at odds with the multiplayer side of things. Looks like an authentic (though not extremely realistic) campaign mode, with a gamerbro kiddie style multiplayer. I suppose it was the only way to get the campaign or game made in modern times though.
Does look like Jedi Survivor, but with guns instead of light sabres and some basic vehicle mini games. Looks like there will be a parkour/climbing element as well. Though I think it will be more bloated in typical Ubisoft fashion. Despite its size/length, I found Jedi Survivor to be fairly...
Seems like Ubisoft will put games on Steam after a later date. I assume they are trying to get most sales on Uplay first. I may wait for the DLC, though there is not much else out currently so this may be the next game I play after I am done with Starfield. Was hoping for one of the Final...
I'm tired of everything being an RPG. And dialogue wheels/lists often suck. They typically are:
- Circular conversations, with nothing but an illusion of choice.
- Rely too heavily on a question format, which makes for unnatural conversations.
- Voice acting, tone, and delivery issues due to...
Does it make a measurable performance impact? Even when recording video, my frame rates do not seem to drop at all. Maybe in some scenarios they do, but it seems very minimal. I can't imagine having the overlay, and not using it, causes any real world performance impact.
Video recording and...
I disagree. Though games are becoming increasingly forgettable for me. I often have difficulty remembering what new games I played over the past year. It has to do with games just not being as good anymore and games becoming more bland. So many games are open world now, when most shouldn't, and...
You can just not open the overlay. I find it works great for frame rate/thermal monitoring. The recording works great, and it seems like it will be getting more enhancements. That is excellent. Much better than having to use an unreliable, bloated and performance draining 3rd party software...
Shame, I wanted this one to come sooner considering how old of a game it is. I'm moderately interested in the God of War game, but much preferred Last of Us over that.
I am doing companions in this game. I've done two of their quest lines. Doing Sam's next. I don't mind them that much, my biggest problem is seemingly the three I did, as well as the whole scanning for contraband feature, contradict or stifle the gameplay a bit. Everything about the game in...
She chastised me for finding her a new outfit. I took them from the rental houses on the beach. The most hypocritical part of it is, she clearly accepted it. :ROFLMAO:
There is just a lot of annoying crap in this game. The upgrade progression is unnecessarily confusing and oddly gated. Skills are so slowly rolled out that I have finished a large chunk of the game, but a large amount of those skills need to go into basic stuff. The upgrade system in this game...
I do not recall many crashes. Maybe 3 or so for the whole game. I am using a 7800X3D, not sure if that is better than certain Intel generations If you're using an Intel CPU.
If I recall it is related to ray tracing? I think I used it in the intro, then switched it off. You don't really see much of a difference outside of the city map anyways. It was stable for me.
I would have thought by now they would have phased out most production of AM4 boards. $360 for a 16 core CPU is not a bad deal though, but I am going to assume that screen shot is inaccurate.
Still getting it in the current build, so looks like it may still be present. Will look into the mod then.
Edit: Quick suggestion for those that get bogged down and bored with the menial tasks.

That is true. I hated the Pipboy but I understood why it was there and had some in universe/story related relevance. Starfield just has bad UI. What I find interesting is that during the age of space travel they have not yet invented the radio. Outside of ship to ship, people cannot seem to...
UI in this game, both visually and control wise, is some of the worst I've ever used in a video game. The simplest things are often impossible to find or are bound to two functions at once.
And nothing is explained, or logical in anyway. Editing a ship is no different than editing a mech in a...
Everything feels so generic. Example: A mission may take you to this place, you spend 10 minutes going there. And then you're there for two whole minutes just to hear a bit of a conversation. This massive facility, with absolutely nothing to do there. Maybe a few rounds of ammo, but mostly pens...
My problem is quest design, so far. I am not that far into it but quest design seems lacking. As does story. FO4 was a step back compared to FO3/NV, but so far Starfield feels like 10 steps backwards from that. Even trying to find alternative ways to do a quest is often limiting and the player...
