If this is true then this is probably the biggest gap between the highest and 2nd highest dies ever seen I think.
That's just WOLED for you. QD OLED fairs much better in colors but then you run into brightness problems in TB400 mode and poor EOTF tracking in P1000 mode that results in aggressive dimming. I think I've just come to accept the fact that for now, OLED monitors are just "HDR lite" displays, if...
LSFG 2.1 now has an X3 frame generation mode so in theory you could achieve 480fps by having a base frame rate of 160fps then using the X3 frame generation. Will need to test to see how good it actually looks in person though.
Matte, but honestly I think it just doesn't really matter anymore since MLA will add some grain/haze to the image regardless even if it was glossy. See this pic of glossy MLA monitor (Asus XG27AQDMG) vs glossy non MLA TV (LG C4):
I'm surprised that no thread has been made yet about this monitor? 1440p 480Hz sounds very neat.

Releasing in Q3 so should be soonish.
The InnoCN is a stupid monitor that requires toggling settings in the correct order to get HDR working (at least on my 32M2V). First start with everything disabled, then you have to toggle on Local Dimming first, then you toggle on HDR on within the monitor's OSD, THEN finally you enable HDR...

"AMD Ryzen 9000 X3D release date is September 2024, according to the latest reports, coming two months after the non-X3D Zen 5 lineup in July. AMD hasn’t officially confirmed this news, but UK tech site Club386 claims it’s spoken to a...
If someone wants maximum productivity on top of gaming wouldn't they just buy a 9950X though? I'm assuming most people who are sticking to 8 core only CPUs these days are just gamers. If the 9700X cannot offer a decent uplift over the 7800X3D then I'm thinking most gamers are just going to pass...
I don't think that GSync module has the ability to be firmware updated so that's why there was never one. They made all the changes from the factory with newer batches.
It's probably just going to tie it in gaming but AMD will probably just say like you now get a bunch of new features over last gen or something like that.
I have the InnoCN, it's FAR from perfect and a great deal behind the PG32UQX, but since it was also much much cheaper I couldn't really complain too much. I think these days you can get one brand new for as little as $450 so that's a good entry point for anyone looking to dab into miniLED...
I'm just amazed that no better miniLED option has come out after the PG32UQX. At this rate it's going to be the year 2040 and people will still be using the PG32UQX.
