    Cooler Master 57" GP57ZS 7680x2160 120Hz Super Ultrawide

has anyone seen confirmation of the refresh rate yet? Samsung's is 240Hz but they have a custom in-house DisplayPort 2.1 scaler and the screen was co-developed with AMD to accomodate the bandwidth needed. Acer released a 120Hz version as they didn't have the same access, and it can then be...

ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG with GLOSSY WOLED panel + "OLED Anti-Flicker"

It doesn’t have the new pixel layout as confirmed by TFT central. that’s only applicable on the upcoming 27” 480Hz panel later in the year and the new 32” 4K panel

ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG with GLOSSY WOLED panel + "OLED Anti-Flicker"

The Dell AW3225QF like all other current QD-OLED monitors has the semi-glossy coating covered on their comparison. It doesn’t have any additional glass cover or anything Dough do have a version of the 27” 240Hz WOLED panel where they’ve added a custom gorilla glass finish which will be...

    Acer Predator Z57 57" 7680x2160 mini-LED @ 120hz

Yes far more likely to be a limitation with the scaler and supported video interfaces than the panel itself. Samsung had a custom scaler for their screen and co-developed it with AMD to allow early DisplayPort 2.1 adoption with UHBR13.5 speeds. Looks like Acer don’t have that available which...

    Acer Predator Z57 57" 7680x2160 mini-LED @ 120hz

No, the webpage confirms 120Hz support as per the original press release and CES announcement https://www.acer.com/gb-en/predator/monitors/z57-miniled Also seems likely that the lower spec panel as a smaller number of dimming zones.

    MSI QD-OLED Monitors 2024

Years?! That’s a pretty condescending post. Obviously not everyone can be as smart and clever as you are 🙄 I don’t recall seeing you investigating it, providing any measurements or useful data, or establishing what the root cause of the (actually mixed) user observations were. what “you’ve...

    Alienware AW3225QF 32" 4K 240 Hz OLED

The bit depth output from your graphics card won’t influence the active colour space of the panel or cause over saturation of colours. That’s dictated by the gamut setting on the monitor. It’s fine to leave it in 10 or 12-bit all the time

    MSI QD-OLED Monitors 2024

Well these modes largely exist for certification purposes :)

    MSI QD-OLED Monitors 2024

If you watch that video that graph is capturing the luminance performance in windows desktop (ie non HDR content) in each mode, and follows on from his observations about the multi logo protection causing some dimming in static content and SDR in modes other than the Creator modes. Also...

    LG 32GS95UE – OLED 31.5″ with 4K @ 240Hz and 1080p @ 480Hz Support - The death knell of LCD panels

This guy is obsessed with glossy panel coatings. You can tell straight away from his ridiculous thumbnail that he’s just going to moan about the matte coating. Same old boring rant
