Hasn't Ubisoft said exactly the above in the past though on another game, and it turned out to be a lie after somebody actually put it to the test and disconnected their internet to play the game?

Noticed this on sale for $35 on Steam so I decided to pick it up. I’ve only played for about 2 hours so far but I’m really liking it! It runs and looks fantastic, can’t wait to check it out on my oled. How is the HDR implementation?
