NCsoft Sued for Identity Theft.

That's BS.

In what twisted world is NCSoft to blame for hackers basically playing their game?

NCSoft would have no way to know if the account was being registered by the actual person or by the identity thief.

If I signed up for an account under a pseudonym, NCSoft's system accepts the "fact" that "Slut Bumwalla of Anytown, USA" is a real person.
 
NCSoft is huge and its just the publisher of the games. I wouldnt worry at all. Thats like EA getting sued for BF2.
 
uhh....EA bought out Dice and they own the Battlefield franchise now...

As far as NCsoft goes, unlike regular game publishers ncsoft deals mostly with mmo's, the billing, etc which would be a tad hard for the individual game developer to handle all of.
 
How would Guild Wars be affected by this if NCsoft loses. Isnt Guild Wars by ArenaNet?
