i got a buyer for my OCZ sticks (djnes should be doing backflips now) and i'm now buying Corsair - buyer got a hell of a deal too, sticks selling for $500CDN now ($575 taxed), i'm selling them for $365... - no, it's not that i'm not happy with my OCZ, it's because i'm moving overseas, and out of ALL the memory makers, Corsair is the only one that has a supplier in the country i'm moving to (UAE in case anyone is wondering) which would make it easier for me to do an RMA if need be.
now, a few questions:
1) how many revisions are there? i know rev. 1 had 4.0ns hynix chips, were any other revisions released?
2) how far will they go at 2.85vdimm on a p4p800-dx? i'm just looking to run them 1:1 at 250fsb for now, but in case i want to go further. reviews have gotten 260-266fsb, the latter at 3.0volts however
3) are there any compatibility issues with the p4p800-dx and these sticks?
4) lowest possible latency at 250fsb? i know they are rated at 3-4-4-8, but a reviewer was able to run them at 2.5-3-4-5 (again, 3.0v)
that's pretty much it.
thanks.
