    The 10 Gbe would be about 1.25GB theoretical, still within DMI max. The boot drive takes minimal bandwidth given for a NAS, it's mostly just system logs. You can probably run 24 spinning rust per x8 using an HBA connected to an expander and you wouldn't experience any slowdowns.
