13900K - Out of Video Memory or BSOD during shader compilation in two UE5 games

yeah its me, but please not ban me. I will be good. I mean sorry for too many questions but i am worried about new pc.

Look, return or sell that intel stuff and get yourself a 7800x3d setup. Its a no brainer, practically bullet proof and runs every game with zero drama.

I have a 7950x3d rig and tried the 14900k in my backup rig and it was nothing but problems compared to the AMD rig.
Intel really dropped the ball with the 13th and 14th series.

Yea I have a 14900ks that has these stability issues at bios defaults. I RMA'ed it and am getting a refund from Intel as they do not have any replacements on hand right now.

But I've run a 12900k, 13900k, and 14900k without any issues though. Just the 14900ks that has issues.

So return my 14900K if i must tweak it to get stability?

Same here. 13 and 12 900 KS's are fine. 14900KS couldn't stabilize below "Intel Baseline" settings. Returned and refunded.

Asked and answered.
I guess its because motherboard settings. I think on new cpu the issues can be still on AUTO settings.
If now all working ok, i will leave it.

Also had 13900K on Aorus Elite Ax Z690 the same issues. So this making me to be sure its mboard settings.

Then stop asking if you should RMA it.

Case closed.

"bios defaults" probably means it has that core enhancement shit on, turn it off.

No, it wasn't even stable at 320w/400a. Had to go all the way down to 253w PL1/PL2 to get it to something at least close to stable. And then it was running at insane voltage. I saw 1.5v during gameplay part of the time. Couldn't undervolt it much at all either, even at 253w.

Reality is that it should be running at 57x p-cores just like the 14900k. It would be fine then, but that's not what Intel sold it as. It's a rip off IMO when it's $200 more and no better or even quite as good as an average 14900k.

I've never been religious about processor choice. It just has no meaning.

However, this whole debacle is indicative, in my opinion, of the problems and culture at Intel. This is the same kind of weirdness that caused the 10nm debacle. Intel has in fact been chasing others to catch up for a long time but most didn't notice it because they were wringing every bit of performance they could out of old process.

They are now at the end of their lifelines, they are selling fab capacity to others, they are talking like they are going to outsource their process to third parties, making a poor stab at the GPU market, and the customer is suffering.

If tea leaves could talk.

This is where I part ways with Intel. And hope they are acquired by someone who has the cash and culture to actually make a processor (or perhaps deliver it effectively?). Maybe nVidia wants into the x86 space. Though nVidia is making moves into open source RISC processors.

We are about to see a major change in the market over the next 5 years. Things are going to change guys. Intel unless it immediately deals with all the issues it has is going down.

Hi. PC:
14900K stock with NZXT kraken elite 360, 2x16GB DDR5 6800,rtx 4090,Seasonic Px 1600,SSD 2TB,Aorus Z790 Elite X.

So after updated drivers , frame generation stops working every time i launch game.
FG is ON. But fps remains the same with OFF. So every time i launch game i must turn it OFF and turn ON and its working. How to resolve this?
Game is running with -DLSSFG shortcut.

Easy. Roll back to previously working drivers.
