Would capping the framerate and Freesync take pressure off of the meager 8GB of RAM? It's AMD Chill and maybe Nvidia global framerate cap? (Skipping buying 32GB for not much money now with a 3080 or something out of balance with 8GB RAM)

What if I sit farther away from my monitor and enable FSR or DLSS? Are people an arm length's away? And do some shadow or water settings increase power draw more than they're fun to look at?
You can undervolt the 4090, not the most frames per dollar but I don't think your power supply will be overwhelmed and consistently shutting down the PC.
I should update my signature but I have the ASUS TUF 6700 XT which isn't loud but with Radeon Chill capping the framerate it is very quiet. I don't have the optional drivers yet and better DX11 or SAM with an AMD processor.

Or running UHD res would probably help the 8600K but it was before the price catastrophe of GPUs.
The 2080 Ti is very powerful but for the 9700K and 9600K with Ampere beasts or the newest AMD cards it was difficult. Here is a Dutch site.
