I'm thinking the one that comes with the card is probably ok but I'm worried about bending it at all, apparently they are super fragile especially within 35mm or so from the connection to the card. I'm looking at cables now on new egg and its 3 week delivery :(
Finally getting a 4090, but now looking for a good 90 degree adapter for it. What do you guys use and if you have any links that would be excellent.
Its for this GPU...
If you can find a retailer that has them that is? Trying to check this out but can't seem to find a retailer listed on their website that has them in stock or even listed. Only the paste which I have but haven't used because I heard its not really any better than noctua paste and you have to...
I thought the same thing about the undervolt. I was fully expecting the temps to drop some. Cinebench/Time spy scores went up but so did temps as well. Time spy went from 64-65c avg and 82-83c max to 72c avg and 88c max. Cinebench maxed around the same 88c but with a little lower 62c avg...
Has anyone AIO'd their Torrent?
I was thinking of just trying it to see how it compares to air, I have a noctua D-15 for a CPU cooler and it does pretty good for the most part but dead space remake cooks my PC up into the 70-80c CPU usage. I live where its hot enough already and it heats the...
That's what is missing from almost all monitors, even high end: hardware calibration. And usually hard to find out if the monitor supports it or not. Doesnt the GP850 have hardware calibration as well?
Actually, there is! I found this out yesterday, there are 'game visual' modes that once you enable some, they start unlocking some of the 'locked down' features, and one unlocks them all, 'RTS/RPG mode. I have to edit the original post, as I was able to successfully calibrate the sRGB mode.
This is not a review. That may come later.
The ENTIRE reason why I waited so long to get this monitor is because of the WORKABLE sRGB color gamut clamp, as noted by Hardware Unboxed in this video, at 10:20.
EDIT: After going thru some of the 'game visual' modes, 'RTS/RPG' mode does unlock...
I have a setup where I have the speakers going into the soundcard, but if I want to use headphones, I have to remove the RCA adapter that the desktop speakers are plugged into, and plug in the RCA's from the atom amp. I use the line out on the soundcard as its better than the headphone amp...
Thanks! That helps quite a bit. I understand there's a 32" version of thiat model as well, if it also has hardware calibration, i'll take a deeper look. I assume these monitors are wide gamut (most are nowadays). Have you done any testing at 60hz, do you see any ghosting if you have?
So I kept getting suggested that if I go with an x570 that to go x570s instead, but that was before I saw all the replies here that say they the fan isnt even an issue and doesnt even spin up with regular use, but I didnt know that and thought the fan was an issue running all the time, and I...
