Awesome - thanks! I saw another mod to do this, but it was removing a bunch more effects from the game that I don't want to mess with. I'll probably give that a try, unless anyone happens to know there's now an in-game setting to switch this somewhere?
Edit - wow, think that was the easiest mod...
BTW, I picked up a new video card a few weeks ago (then exchanged it for the Super last week) and have been enjoying the hell out of 2.1 for the last ~140 hours of game time.
The game looks amazing and smooth at 4k RT-Ultra settings.
Everything they fixed since launch has really added up, and...
Yep, 2.11 is out now. So far the only difference I've noticed is this super-annoying glitch effect in the inventory screens. I think it's supposed to be a transition effect that lasts a split second (I'd be ok with it lasting 0.25-0.5-ish seconds) but now I'm getting this for like 3-5 seconds...
Yeah, I looked at those charts on both Steam & Ubi, but apparently the Gold Edition I bought & played in 2021 doesn't exist any more. I googled it, but couldn't tell what's new in the current Complete Edition. The last time I played (was very close to 100%'ing the game and all DLC around August...
Does anyone know the difference between "Gold Edition" and "Complete Edition" of Valhalla now on Steam? (no luck yet on google)
I bought the Gold Edition on U-Play (mid 2021) and enjoyed it a lot! Some of the DLC wasn't completed yet when I played, so there's probably a little content out there...
I just realized this week that I can't fit an RTX4080 card in my trusty old Corsair 380T Mini-ITX case... sadness. Now trying to decide if I need to move my system to a new case, or just wait to see if a more compact version of the new cards is coming...
Anyone know if any of the partner...
My beloved 2070-Super has started making weird clicking noises whenever the fans turn on... really hoping this doesn't mean I gotta do something stupid-spendy in the near future...
So yeah, I've been holding out for a 3080 TI, but I'm not ok with spending over about $800, fuck spending $1400+...
I'm still holding out to play until I can re-map all of my controls. Need to re-map the Use key from F to E, quick-whatever from Q to F, and need to put the Inventory, Quests, Character-Specs, Weapon-Reloading, and a bunch of other stuff on my mouse buttons, which are all set to the wrong...
I fired it up for a few minutes last night. It was running a lot smoother than I expected, but I didn't get outside the starting Corpo building yet. On i5-6600k, RTX2070S, 32GB, and only running at 1080, I was getting upper-50's fps most of the time. Settings were Ultra with Ray-Tracing and...
It feels pretty gratifying to have like 20+ games on their store without paying a single dime for any of them...
But seriously, I'm never paying them a single dime ever. So just put everything on Steam so I can keep my library all in one place. I don't appreciate them fucking with my neat tidy...
lol - you made me go check the page again to be sure. I got the sale price, but deff paid too much. I'm too impatient to play RDR2 and just happy to see it on Steam finally. Ended up paying $54.99 for the "Special Edition" after sale and another $5 off from the steam holiday tokens.
Well, I'm a sucker this year - just bought RDR2 and AC:Odyssey mid-level editions for a total of $97 so far.
Think that's the most I've spent on any steam sale since the very beginning when we could get tons and tons of bundled games for that price...
Yeah, I've been using a browser plugin to adjust play speed for a few months now - don't think I can ever go back to normal 1x speed viewing again. A lot of shitty movies on NetFlix are a lot more endurable when you can power through them at 1.2-1.5x speed. Sometimes I'll completely loose...
Question: are there any upgrade-able vehicles in the game besides the Phoenix? I held off on doing a lot of the convoy fights until I had the Pheonix all upgraded, and now that I can attack convoys I'm racking up tons of auto parts that I can't spend. Hoping I find at least one more vehicle I...
