BIOS update to F11n successful. I did use the Intact method as well as Disabling CSM Support, Enabling Above 4G Decoding and Resize Bar Support set to Auto. I am aware that Resizable Bar doesn't work on GTX 1070's, this is for future use without the 1070.
Hi,
Thanks for that. I installed the Intel Driver and Support Assistant program and ran it. It only came back with some wifi drivers out of date. I'll try the Intact option.
Hi,
I'm updating the BIOS to F11n which includes Resize Bar Support for the Gigabyte z390 Master. The question is, at the end of selecting the BIOS file I'd like (F11n), I get a choice:
Descriptor
INTEL ME
FAST or INTACT
Which do I choose? I'm not looking to brick the system obviously.
Thanks!
Update.
Builds are done. These are 2 identical machines.
i9 9900k
Gigabyte Z390 Master
G Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB DDR4
Noctua NH-D15
Samsung 860 Evo
Windows 10 Pro
Seasonic Prime Titanum 750w
Zotac GTX 1070 Amp Extreme
CoolerMaster Mastercase H500M
Thanks guys. I'll chime back in when I've done a little more searching. I am keeping the PSU's. Yes they are overkill but I've had 750w for the past 6 years anyway.
Hi guys,
One of my computers built in 2012 died recently. It wouldn't reboot no matter what, no life at all. I took it apart and rebuilt another out of parts laying around but with the same case, a Corsair 600t. It's slower by a lot.
Anyway, I'm going build 2 new machines. Both will be rebuilt...
